Placement of the router

While placing the router, there are several things to keep in mind:  

• Wireless signal reflects of metal walls
• Wireless signal are absorbed by water
• Wireless signal can only exit via rubber door seal (and is weakened by doing so)

The image below shows several situation to clearify the three rules stated above:

• The sensor in the Main freezer is blocked by the red boxes
• The signal is reflected on the metal wall and exits only through the rubber door in the Main cooler

Summary of where to place the repeater

If we look at the image below, we see a router at two different positions. We advice to:

• Place it in line with the door seal (position A)
• Do not place repeater across the hallway (position B)
