Change the calibration chip
Here's what you need to re-calibrate the Rmini:
- Screwdriver
- Replacement calibration chip
- Old calibration chip
- Rmini sensor (RMZ-2214-M50)
Change the calibration chip of your Rmini in just four simple steps:
- Get the device and place it with the front down. Make sure to have a screwdriver available as well.
- Screw the device open and remove the backside of the device.
- Remove the inside of the device.
- Replace the chip, reset the Rmini, put the chip back in and reattach the backside. Resetting can be done using one of the following methods:
- Press the black reset button on the circuit board
- Remove and re-insert the battery
- Hold a magnet against the side of the device until it flashes white
The new calibration certificate will automatically replace the old calibration certificate in RmoniWeb.
