Need to re-calibrate the Rmini? Check out our how-to guide below:

Change the calibration chip

Here's what you need to re-calibrate the Rmini:

  • Screwdriver
  • Replacement calibration chip
  • Old calibration chip
  • Rmini sensor (RMZ-2214-M50)

Change the calibration chip of your Rmini in just four simple steps:

  1. Get the device and place it with the front down. Make sure to have a screwdriver available as well.
  2. Screw the device open and remove the backside of the device.
  3. Remove the inside of the device.
  4. Replace the chip, reset the Rmini, put the chip back in and reattach the backside. Resetting can be done using one of the following methods:
    • Press the black reset button on the circuit board
    • Remove and re-insert the battery
    • Hold a magnet against the side of the device until it flashes white

The new calibration certificate will automatically replace the old calibration certificate in RmoniWeb.
